Honey & Mackie's: Reviews & Ratings
I’ve been coming here for years and the ice cream is always so good. There’s a nice rotation of pretty unique flavors along with hot dogs, fries, and mac n cheese. Today I had the cookie monster and reese‘s peanut butter with a cone on top so I don’t drip everywhere! The fries are always nice and crispy and my favorite dipping sauce is the seasoned sour cream. I hope I can come back for many more years!
Plymouth gem! I love the cozy feel inside when sitting and eating with friends/family over delicious ice cream or fries. The flavors are delicious and the to go options are a nice to have too. There are sit down chairs outside under some shade as available. The staff is sweet and helpful. Bathroom available Parking free onsite
As someone who is lactose intolerant and always looking for a sweet treat. This is done pretty well as far as sorbet. They had a Red Bull sorbet that was excellent. Closest I could say was it was kind of like bubblegum ice cream without the bubble gum. My son of course loves the shakes with fresh fries. Overall good experience although it is a bit expensive. Considering a pint is going to cost you $8 where you go to a grocery store and get a point for four of Ben & Jerry's It seems a bit high. I'm sure profitability and cost of materials is something to do with it but as a consumer I'm going to say expensive. Add in the policy of no free samples and it seals the deal. The employees are friendly and ready to serve. You most likely run into a lot of families and kids. They have games around that you can take out and play. There is no Wi-Fi so don't look at it as a spot where you may want to work from or do a project that requires internet access. Unless you want a hot spot it yourself. You could have a dog outside the door sometimes in the summer they have a big tent with tables underneath and you could sit out there with a puppy. They don't allow dogs inside and don't really have anything catered to dogs. Personally I think having some kind of a dog ice cream or puppy cup would be a great idea. But maybe in the future. Dog friendliness: Atmosphere: Taste: Service: Variety: Overall value: ,
Ice cream and French Fries are a wonderful combination. Made even better by the quality of the ice cream. The fries remind me of the state fair fries which are an all time classic and supper tasty. The place was clean and has both indoor and outdoor sitting areas.
I love the ice cream flavors and their cones. This place also sells fresh fries and hot dogs. I got the Chocolate Gold and Seniors ‘22 (their flavor of the month) waffle cone. It was delicious! I love how smooth the ice cream feels and the texture is perfect! My husband got the Yin Yang and Kit Kat ice cream cone. His was also very good. We also noticed that they got busy after we ordered and the line was literally out the door. I’m happy to have found a good ice cream shop in Plymouth!
The cozy place to enjoy the ice cream! ( I didn't try any savory food, so this review is only for ice cream.) Tried Golden and salty caramel, the Golden with the vanilla flavor is tasty. Not super sugary taste too which is nice. The salty caramel is nice, but the salt inside didn't get mixed enough. So, my first bite was... sweet with caramel flavor. But after I gave in many bites, the salty flavor spread out in my mouth. It sounds absurd...but if you like a more salty flavor... they provide a salty pack... I tried it ... And I think it made my salty caramel ice cream get upgraded! Oh. I ordered homemade cone, the homemade cone is crispy waffle taste. Love it! I pretty recommend try with the cone! I would definitely visit again! The service is great as well! Good place to hang out with friends with some ice cream! Overall, I recommend this place!
